Horns For Kids is the charitable arm of The Great Connecticut Jazz Festival. Our principal function is to facilitate
and encourage the performance of music by children in their school, and as a lifelong activity. Horns For Kids raises funds
by sponsoring musical events, and awards grants to school music programs. We encourage music teachers and administrators to
apply for these grants by submitting the Grant Application Form. It's downloadable now, from the Grant Application link at
the left of this page.

| Lee Walkup and Fred Rossomando, co-directors |
Lee Walkup and Fred Rossomando are recently retired music educators who have signed-on to support music education in CT schools.
Fred taught in the Wallingford Public Schools, and Lee in the Shelton Public Schools -- both for 32 years. Since 1974, they
have also operated Grace Recording Studio, Inc. in Hamden. With your help, they are determined to create opportunities for
young people to develop a passion for music.
